In January-June 2019, the volume of building materials production in Azerbaijan amounted to 399.5 million manats, which is 8.9 percent more than in the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to a report by the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the report, the biggest growth (62.2 times), was recorded in the production of building bricks, followed by a 50.1-percent increase in the production of building limestone, and a 20.5-percent increase in the production of concrete mix.
The biggest decrease was observed in the production of cement (at 45.6 percent) and precast concrete building structures (at 45.6 percent).
