BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 22. Nominal incomes of the population in Azerbaijan are projected to be 84.1 billion manat ($49.4 billion) and nominal expenses will be 81.4 billion manat ($47.8 billion) in 2024, up by 8.3 percent and 8.6 percent compared to 2023, respectively, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Finance.
The average monthly salary for the next year is projected to be 980 manat ($576.4), which is a growth of 5.4 percent on an annual basis.
The nominal incomes of the Azerbaijani population increased by 14.32 percent, or 6.4 billion manat ($3.8 billion), and reached 50.8 billion manat ($29.9 billion) from January through August 2023 compared to the same period in 2022.
According to preliminary data, the average monthly nominal salary of employees in Azerbaijan increased by 11.3 percent and amounted to 925.3 manat ($544.3) from January through July 2023, compared to the same period last year.
