BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 5. Azerbaijan is expected to increase production of main types of alcoholic beverages in 2024-2027, Trend reports, referring to the government source.
The source informs that in 2024 the country may produce 5.512 million decaliters of beer, 1.08 million decaliters of wine, and 1.73 million decaliters of vodka and other alcohol up to 45.4 percent.
Production of beer is scheduled to reach 5.772 million decaliters next year, wine - 1.144 million decaliters, and 1.8 million decaliters of vodka and beverages with a strength of up to 45.4 degrees.
The output of beer may reach 6.154 million decaliters in 2026 and wine - 1.186 million decaliters. Strong spirits will account for 1.89 million decaliters.
The forecast for 2027 indicates 6.43 million decaliters of beer, 1.24 million decaliters of wine, and 1.96 million decaliters of vodka and alcohol with a strength of up to 45.4 percent.
