BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 13. Viveka intends to open a branch in Azerbaijan in the second half of this year, Viveka CEO Barysh Okur told Trend.
He stated that this strategic choice is prompted by management's belief in the Azerbaijani market's high potential and a desire to accelerate the development of new technology in the region.
"We see tremendous opportunities for growth and innovation in Azerbaijan. While technological growth is moving slowly in Turkey, we feel that Azerbaijan may become a pioneer in quick improvement," he emphasized.
According to him, the company intends to implement open innovation and talent development initiatives in Azerbaijan to boost bilateral collaboration and cultural connections.
"The absence of linguistic barriers and strong economic ties between Turkey and Azerbaijan provide good conditions for such cooperation. Our same cultural base brings significant benefits to both states. Furthermore, Viveka is actively recruiting Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to integrate them into the ecosystem of Turkish venture capital funds, angel investors, and clients, thereby promoting economic and technological collaboration between the two nations," he added.
Viveka, Turkey's first private accelerator, was established in 2010 to provide full accelerator services to early-stage entrepreneurs. Our startups have received investment, global competition rankings, and seed funding during the past 7 years.
