ASTANA, Kazakhstan, March 25. The Kazakh BI Group construction company plans to build a medical center in Azerbaijan's Karabakh, said Arken Arystanov, Kazakhstan Agency of International Development (KazAID) Chairman of the Board, in response to a question from Trend at a briefing.
"An agreement has been reached that BI Group will construct a medical center in Karabakh. This will be a commercial project implemented jointly with Azerbaijani partners," he said.
The chairman of the agency highlighted that the Children's Creativity Center in the city of Fuzuli, built with the support of KazAID and BI Group, has generated considerable interest, and there are currently discussions regarding the possibility of implementing similar projects in other countries.
Arystanov also mentioned that KazAID is keen on broadening cooperation with the Azerbaijani Agency for International Development (AIDA), especially within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
The Kurmangazy Children's Creativity Center built at the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is a gift from the fraternal Kazakh people to the Azerbaijani people. With its foundation laid in March 2023, the center occupies an expanse of 1.5 hectares, boasting a construction area spanning 2700 square meters. This two-story building is outfitted with all essential facilities to cater to the extracurricular educational needs of 600 children across multiple shifts. The Center hosts an array of facilities, including lecture hall, chess and culinary classrooms, studios for fine arts and sculpture, choreography and sports hall, sound recording studios, music and vocal classrooms, study rooms for photo-video editing, web design, robotics, 3D modeling and an assembly hall. The Center will place a special emphasis on IT startups and Azerbaijan's national culture, including carpet weaving.
The development and execution of the project were spearheaded by the BI Group, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and drawing upon the firm's extensive expertise garnered over the years.
