The villagers gathered in Buranovo country club to watch semifinal of Eurovision-2012 and support their famous countrywomen, ITAR-TASS reported.
Relatives and fellow villagers of Buranovskie Babushki gathered in the country club two hours prior to the broadcast.
A storm intervened in the support action, because of which it was moved from patio into the club. But the villagers don't lose their heart "There is a superstition that if there is a rain there will be a success."
A few minutes before the start of the competition it became clear that the club lost the TV signal.
As the press-secretary of the group Svetlanas Syrygina said, the equipment was installed to broadcast in the street, but due to bad weather conditions the signal was lost.
"We are now trying to find the signal inside the club," she said.
"Our Babushki is at Eurovision-2012 and it is important, and we will find where to watch," say those in Umdurtia.
There is a disco at the club - the villagers are dancing and shouting words of encouragement for their countrywomen that brought fame to the village from all over the world.
