American Diplomat Considers Unnecessary to Change Format of Negotiation Process

The U.S. co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group, Matthew Bryza, is sure that the negotiations process will continue, he said on 3 April in Bucharest after the meeting with the newly elected President of Armenia, Prime Minister, Serj Sarkisyan.

Speaking of the possible mechanism of changing the format of settling the conflict, Bryza said that there is only one format - OSCE Minsk Group, and currently there is not serious necessity to change it, a source at press-service of Armenian Government reported to Mediamax.

According to the American diplomat, it is clear that the negotiations process continues and the main fact is that after the inauguration ceremony of the Armenian president, both the presidents have an opportunity to meet and talk.

"We have known the newly elected President of Armenia and we are sure that we can continue talks with him regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement," Bryza said.
