On February 9 the Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, received OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President's Special Representative for Nagorno Karabakh Goran Lenmarker, Public Radio of Armenia reported.
At Mr. Lenmarker's request, Minister Nalbandian presented the latest developments in the negotiations on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, the results of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents' meeting in Zurich.
In this framework it was noted that the Moscow declaration of November 2nd, as well as the statements of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries and the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers create a fertile ground for achieving progress in the negotiations on Artsakh.
For his part, Goran Lenmarker underlined that the negotiation process underway within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group can bring to the resolution of the issue and expressed confidence that the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict has no alternative.
During the meeting Edward Nalbandian and Goran Lenmarker exchanged views on the European Union's Eastern Partnership initiative.
