Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Feb. 7 /Trend/

A new system of automatic dispatch of letters to the U.S. Congress and the press was launched on Feb. 3 with the support of the Azerbaijan Society of America (ASA), the Azerbaijani-American Council (AAC) and the newly founded Institute of Pax Turcica (PTI), ASA reported.

The new system allows representatives of the Azerbaijani and Turkic communities in the United States to send letters to congressmen, senators and representatives of federal and local executive authorities, as well as to local newspapers in less than 30 seconds.

Pax Turcica devoted the first campaign to send letters through the new system to the 19th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide. The letter campaign urges congressmen and senators to remember the victims of the tragedy at the meetings of both houses of Congress on the eve of the anniversary of the tragedy. Representatives of the Azerbaijani and Turkish communities have already sent over 400 letters within two days of the campaign.

AAC and ASA call on all compatriots living in the United States to join the campaign at: http://campaign.paxturcica.org or http://campaign.azeris.com
