President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan hosted a working dinner on Nov.15 in honor of heads of state and government and international organizations participating in the G20 Summit.
During the event, the participants discussed such issues as combating terrorism and migration crisis.
Addressing the discussions, Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev said that his country actively participates in fighting the international terrorism and was one of the first countries to join the operations of coalition forces in Afghanistan.
Aliyev pointed out that Azerbaijan is one of the countries suffering from terrorism which is the integral part of Armenia's policy of occupation against the country.
Over 2,000 Azerbaijani citizens were killed as a result of the terrorist attacks committed by Armenian terrorist organization in Azerbaijan, he added.
Talking about the occupation of Azerbaijani lands, the president said that 20 percent of the country's territory has been occupied as a result of Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan and the policy of ethnic cleansing was pursued against the country.
Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan faced humanitarian disaster and nearly a million compatriots became refugees on their native lands as a result of the occupation.
Although over 20 years ago, the UN Security Council adopted four resolutions demanding the immediate, complete and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from Azerbaijan's occupied territories, Armenia continues to ignore these demands, according to the president.
President Ilham Aliyev drew attention of the heads of state to the fact of ignorance by Armenia of the resolutions of the number one world organization.
The president pointed out that the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should be resolved only in accordance with the international law and within Azerbaijan's territorial integrity.
