No monitoring was held on the frontline on 20 September 2005, the head of the press service of the Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry Ramiz Melikov told Trend.
According to him, the report disseminated by the В"RegnumВ" agency that during the monitoring held under the guidance of the OSCE special envoy Andrzey Kasprshik the Azerbaijani side breached the cease-fire regime is deliberate and is not true. В"In case the monitoring would have been held the observer from the Azerbaijani side would have taken part in it.
Dissemination of such kind reports is the next provocation of our enemies. The Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan does not possess any information on carrying out any monitoring on the frontline”, the Defense Ministry’s press service head noted.
