Armenia and Azerbaijan themselves should reach a mutually acceptable resolution on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Trend reports in reference to RIA Novosti agency, which quoted Mikhael Kaminin, an official of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"Welcoming the continuation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani dialogue, Russia’s position is that the conflict sides themselves should come to a mutually acceptable agreement,” the diplomat underlined.

He underlined that Russia was ready to render active assistance on the bilateral basis as an OSCE Minsk Group co-chair and become a guarantee of the agreement reached.

Touching upon the Russian-Armenian relationships, Kaminin noted over the past few years they had become of strategic and allied partnership and differ for positive dynamic of development.
