Number of Population of an Occupied Azerbaijani District Increased up to 14,000 after Armenian Occupation

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr. V. Mammadov/ Surkhay Humbatov, Chief of the Statistics Department of Kalbajar District of Azerbaijan, has stated today that 63,735 people have been registered in Armenia's occupied Kalbajar District of Azerbaijan..

According to him, in 1993, when Kalbajar was occupied, over 50,000 people were registered in the occupied Azerbaijani District. Humbatov noted that over the past year, the number of Kalbajar residents has increased by 1,000. The Kalbajar residents have been placed in 56 Districts on 707 residential lands of the Country, mostly in Ganja, Baku and Barda.
