Roundtable on "Oil Revenues and State Expenditures" to be held

Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr P. Amirdjanov/ A one-day roundtable on the topic - "Oil Revenues and State Expenditures" dedicated to promoting transparency and efficient use of oil revenues will be held tomorrow, on Thursday, April 5th, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the International Press Center in Baku. The forthcoming event will be held with the support of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Eurasia Foundation and the Foundation for Assistance to Entrepreneurship, Trend reports quoting a press-release distributed from the U.S. Embassy today.

Basil Zavoico, the IMF Resident Representative in Azerbaijan, and Azer Mehdiyev, the Director of Expert magazine, will make presentations at the roundtable.

About 25 to 30 representatives of the Azerbaijani Parliament of the Milli Majlis , various Ministries, representatives of SOFAZ (State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan), as well as representatives of international and local NGOs are expected to attend this event.
