Azerbaijan, Barda / corr Trend Sh.Jaliloglu / Strong winds have disrupted 30km-long high-voltage electricity transmission lines, 28 electricity posts and 5 electricity distribution transformers in the villages of Barda District, Barda District Administration said on 17 September.
Employees of the district network are carrying out repair work of the lines and posts. Transformers have been sent for repair to Mingachavir. No information on the restoration of the electricity supply to the region has yet been provided.
Barda is located in 320km southeast of Baku.
