Azerbaijan, Gazakh / Тrend corr N. Fatullayeva / The residents of the Azerbaijani Gazakh region held a protest against the construction of a multi-storey building.
The residents of a building housing forty-six families protested against the construction of a multi-storey building four to five metres away from their building. To suspend the construction work they applied to the Gazakh Executive Power and to the Azerbaijani President. They commenced a lawsuit at the Gazakh Court in this connection.
The permission for construction of the building was issued by the municipality, Gazakh's First Deputy Executive, Farman Nagdaliyev, said on 17 October.
Gazakh region is located 520km west of Baku.
