( Reuters ) - At least one person was killed and about 50 workers were injured when the roof of a 22-storey building collapsed in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka, police and witnesses said on Sunday.
Several other workers were trapped inside the building, which was being demolished, when it collapsed on Saturday night, they said.
The building was being demolished because its construction violated government rules.
Army personnel, along with police and firefighters, were working to rescue the laborers trapped inside.
