Fire in Baku Centre Killed One
Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 June / Trend / A residence house caught fire in the centre of Baku (92 Academician Gurbanov, Yasamal District) in the evening of 31 May. A man, who was in the house at that time, got burnt alive.
According to the State Fire Service of the Emergency Situations Ministry, which is operating in the place of the incident, the private 2-storey house was set on fire by an unknown man, who tried to escape from the place of incident but was detained by the police. The criminal was drunk.
A soldier of the Civil Defence of the Emergency Situations Ministry fainted while operating in the place of the incident. According to physicians, his condition is normal.
The Specialists of the Emergency Situations Ministry, Interior Ministry and National Security Ministry are operating in the place.
According to neighbours, for several years, the neighbours have been disputing for public utilities. On the day of the incident, a fierce fight took place involving heads of the families. As a result, one of them set to fire other's house.
