Representative of Russian Community in Azerbaijan was Murdered for Selfish Ends: Head of Community

Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 June / corr, Trend I. Alizade/ The deputy head of the representation of Russian community in the western region of Azerbaijan was murdered for selfish ends. "Nadejda Dmitriyevna Nazarli was not murdered because of religious hatred," MP Mikhail Zabelin, the head of the Russian community in Azerbaijan said.

The 68-year old Nadejda Dmitriyevna Nazarli, who lived in Gandja, str Hasanli brothers, was stabbed with a knife to death by unknown persons in her apartment. The signs of violation have been reveled on her body.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Gandja said that a case has been filed into the willful murder.

According to Zabelin, the Russians living in Azerbaijan do not face any problems related to their nationality.
