Akhundov / In connection with the murder in Baku underground station "Sahil" a criminal case under the article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan is already filed, Deputy Attorney of Sabail district of Baku Elchin Sultanov told Trend on Monday.
At around 21:00 on Monday at the "Sahil" station 60-year-old Yagut Mammedov was stabbed with a knife and killed.
Sultanov said that the incident occurred as a result of a quarrel.
"Participants in the incident started to argue because of the place on a bench on the platform of the station, then one of them pulled out a knife and killed the second", said the Deputy Prosecutor.
According to Sultanov, the person who committed the murder had been arrested.
