Two people were killed and nine others injured during minibus collision on the road between the cities of Aleppo and Afrin on Saturday night, Xinhua quoted the independent Syria-news website as reporting.
A police source said the incident took place between a minibus heading to Aleppo, the second largest Syrian city, and another bus heading to Afrin.
Two passengers in the minibus were killed, and the nine injured were rushed to hospital, the source said, adding that the cause of the accident was "overspeed and misconduct."
The injured were still under medical treatment, the report quoted the hospital official as saying.
