Soldiers injured in a traffic accident in the Azerbaijani Lerik region are in satisfactory condition, the PR Department of the State Border Service (SBS) said.
An Azerbaijani State Border Service's vehivle carrying 18 soldiers turned over and fell into a gorge in the Guneshli village along the Lerik-Lankaran Highway April 3.
Four soldiers died on the spot and one died in the hospital the next day.
The Lankaran Military Prosecutor's Office has filed a criminal case under Article 263.3 (Infringement of Traffic Regulations Resulting in the Death of Two or More Persons) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.
The case is under investigation, the SBS said.
