Monuments to famous personalities in various places of Tehran are still stolen. Yesterday the monument to Abu Said Abul-Khair was stolen. Thus, the number of stolen monuments reached 13, Iranian internet newspaper "jamejamonline" said.
Earlier, the monument to Muhammedhuseyn Shaharyar in front of the Tehran City Theater, the monument to Bagirhan in Shahrar alley, Sani Khatam monument in the park "Millett", the monument to Ibn Sina in the western town and other monuments were stolen.
Monuments were stolen by strangers, presumably due to the fact that they were made of bronze, the executive power of Tehran said.
