Heavy rains in Ismayilli region disconnected three villages from the district center.
As a result of torrential rains June 20-21, communications in villages Istisu, Sumagalli and Galajiq with a district center was broken, chairman of the District Emergency Commission, the executive deputy head Rafael Akhmadov said.
According to the chairman of the commission, mudslides washed away the territory between the villages and the bridge over the river Goychay, connecting them with the district center.
The bridge over the river Goychay and surrounding roads are completely destroyed.
At the moment, the work conducted to restore the connection between villages and the district center is under completion, Akhmadov said.
He said that until the end of the day the connection between the three villages and the district center will be fully restored.
Ismayilli region is 185 km from Baku.
