An accident took place on the 29th kilometer of the Baku-Guba highway, on the crossing of the railway in Azerbaijan.
Three carriages of the train carrying benzene to the Ethylene-Propylene Plant derailed in the H.Z.Tagiyev settlement of the Sumgait city, the Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry reported.
No fire or leakage of benzene has been recorded. The ministry's employees have arrived at the scene and the appropriate structures were informed about the incident.
The work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the accident at the accident site.
