Customs officers revealed drugs in inner organs of the Azerbaijani citizens returning from Iran.
Employees of the Bilasuvar customs border checkpoints conducted a body search of Vugar Alasgarov, who was returning from Iran on foot, during which nothing illegal was found, the State Customs Committee (SCC) told Trend.
However, due to the fact that during the inspection Alasgarov felt uncomfortable, it was decided to check inner organs of the citizen by a doctor.
With the participation of a doctor and witnesses three separate plastic packages with 1.310 gram of heroin and 0.270 methamphetamine, which is a psychotropic substance, have been found in Alasgarov's rectum.
During body search on Gurban Asadov, who arrived from Iran to Azerbaijan, a flask with psychotropic substance methamphetamine weighing 0.240 grams inside it was found in the inner pocket of his jacket.
The inspection was continued, and 27.050 grams of heroin, packed in five polyethylene packages was found in Asadov's rectum and seized.
During the body search on Anvar Aliyev, who arrived from Iran, 104.005 grams of heroin was found in his rectum.
During the inspection of Israfil Amirov, who arrived from Iran, 26 grams of heroin was removed from his rectum.
All facts are under investigation.
