A delegation led by Iranian Deputy Petroleum Minister Alirza Zeygami was attacked in Baghdad, the Iranian website asriran.com reported.
According to the information, two Iraqi bodyguards of the deputy minister were injured during an armed attack. The attack took place in the center of Baghdad when the delegation moved from the Iraqi Oil Ministry to the Energy Ministry. The perpetrators of an armed attack and bodyguards exchanged fire about 15 minutes. It was reported that the members of the delegation were not injured.
The delegation, led by Zeygami, is in Iraq to discuss the sale of fuel to Iraq.
