Iran 's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) killed 50 Pjak members during the recent operations against this terrorist group, the Fars News Agency reported.
About 100 Pjak members have been wounded or arrested during the IRGC operations in northwest Iran.
Iran has recently deployed 5,000 military forces in the northwest of the country along its common border with the Iraqi Kurdistan region.
This is aimed to carry out military maneuvers with a view to stabilize the situation on the border area and fight the counterrevolutionary groups.
Members of the terrorist Party for Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK) group - an offshoot of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) - regularly engage in armed clashes with Iranian security forces along the country's western borders with Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdistan region.
