Two earthquakes rocked Zagatala region of Azerbaijan on the night from Saturday to Sunday, National Seismic Survey Center reported.
The first quake, with a magnitude of 3.50 was registered 14 km south-east of the town of Zagatala at 11 pm on Saturday. The second, and more powerful one, with a magnitude of 3.80 occurred 11 km south-east of the regional center at 2:10 am Sunday.
The first earthquake was felt with intensity of up to 3 points near its epicenter, the second one - of up to 3.5-4 points.
The earthquakes caused no casualties.
An earthquake with intensity of 7 occurred in Zagatala on May 7 followed by eight smaller tremors.
As a result of the quakes, about 3000 houses and 124 social facilities were destroyed in Zagatala region. There were no deaths or serious injuries.
