Seven people were arrested trying to smuggle 250 kilograms of gold bars and 358 different coins from Iran to the United Arab Emirates in the city of Hormuzgan, Iribnews reported on Monday.
According to the information, the gold, worth $20 million, was confiscated during a ship inspection in the port of Leng in Iranian province of Hormuzgan.
The crew of the ship was arrested and prosecuted.
