A strong explosion occurred in the basement of an unfinished residential building near the Azadlig prospekti subway station in Baku on Feb.13 in the morning, the accident witnesses told Trend.
A fire at the scene continues. It caused damage to neighboring buildings, a Trend employee reported from the scene.
Two women and one man were injured, Baku City Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid Station told Trend. One woman got a head injury. They were passing by the exploding building, according to preliminary data. No deaths are reported. Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situation are working to find the injured.
Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situation and employees of Azerigas Production Association are at the scene.
