The traffic on the bridge over the Bosporus was temporarily suspended in Turkey due to a terrorism act risk, Turkish Milliyet newspaper reported on March 27.
An unknown person called the Istanbul police on March 27 and warned that there was a suspicious package on the sidewalk of the bridge that looked like explosives, according to the newspaper.
After this call the police suspended traffic on the bridge.
It is also reported that the police seized the suspicious package and then traffic was resumed.
