The three Azerbaijanis wounded during the skirmish in Iraq in November received first medical aid, Iraqi embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend.
They were not seriously wounded. The Azerbaijani citizens were repatriated after receiving medical aid. The embassy also noted that the Iraqi law-enforcement bodies did not consider the case, as the Azerbaijani victims did not lodge a complaint.
As a result of the 16 November skirmish in Khanigin town, Iraq, three Azerbaijani citizens Hassan Mirzayev, Sharif Novruzov and Yashvi Farkhan were wounded.
