Dead body of a Turkish citizen died in jet crash near Baku sent to Istanbul

A dead-body of a Turkish citizen, Erdal Demir, who died in a jet crash near Baku on 23 Dec, was sent to Istanbul on Monday morning, the Turkish embassy in told Trend.

The embassy said that Demir worked in one of the foreign companies in Kazakhstan and was traveling from Baku to Aktau (Kazakhstan) by transit.

The crash of an airliner AN-100-140 near Baku on Friday evening put an end to lives of 19 passengers, including 10 citizens of Azerbaijan, 4 - Kazakhstan, 1- Australia, 1 -the UK, 1 - Turkey and 1 - Georgia. 5 members of the crew of the airliner, who also died in a crash, were citizens of Azerbaijan.
