At least 13 Azerbaijanis died as a result of the roof collapse at the Basmanni bazaar [market], Trend reports referring to Ilgar Hajiyev, the chairman of the Moscow regional department of the All-Russian Congress of World Azerbaijanis.
According to Hajiyev, there are two or three more Azerbaijanis in the grave state among the people, delivered to the Sklifovsky hospital. To our knowledge, several Azerbaijanis are still under heaps, Hajiyev stressed.
Hajiyev noted that the Azerbaijnai Diaspora in Moscow intent to defray the expenses of the burial of the deceased Azerbaijanis, Interfax reports.
