The law-enforcement bodies of Azerbaijan, detained a citizen of Iran, Huseyn Fattahi Javad, 45, who was granted a refugee status on the base of false documents. The prosecutor Office of Azizbayov District of Baku, told Trend.
A law-suit has been filed on the case in accordance with Article 320.2 (false documents). The materials for investigating the purpose of the Iranian citizen obtaining a refugee status have been submitted to the Ministry of National Security.
After inspection it turned out that Javad has recently came from Iran. He presented false documents, including a passport issued for Nasir Ahmad Paydar, to the State Commitee on Refugees to receive status of refugee.
