Two People Still Remain under Ruin in Neapol Leisure Center – Additional 3

Trend Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / One worker was seriously injured and two workers are still remaining under the ruin as a result of building's falling-down during construction in Neapol leisure center in Baku.

Trend Correspondent reports from the place of incident that the rescue team and dogs of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have been involved in the place of incident. Worker Rasim has already been taken out from the ruin. He has been hospitalized with critical condition.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations is installing spotlights as the dark is already in existence.

The foreman, Rafig Mammadov born in 1962 who is an internally displaced person from Zangilan district and a worker, 43-year old Rauf Abdullayev who is from Sumgayt city, are still under the ruin.

The ruin covers a large territory. Heavy techniques are raking the place of incident, but yet it is impossible to reach the place where the people are supposed to remain. In addition, the employees of the District Police Department, District Prosecutor's Office, State Labor Inspection Department and Ministry of Emergency Situations are holding investigations in the place of incident.

The Chairman of the State Labor Inspection Department, Nabi Shukurov, said that yet it is impossible to make clear if the workers have been hired on the base of labor contract. The Deputy Chief of Apsheron Prosecutor's Office, Avaz Movsumov, said that a criminal case has been filed over the fact. The relatives of the workers arrived in the place of incident and express their dissatisfaction with the rate of the search work. Yet it is impossible to receive official comments from the representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Company which constructing the building.
