Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / New Administrative courts will be established in Azerbaijan, MP Ali Huseynov, the Chairman of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission on Law Policy and State Building, said on 17 September.

Administrative courts may begin operating after the adoption of the Administrative Procedural Code by the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament). "This will take place during the autumn session of the Parliament. Adoption of the code will settle any disharmony amongst citizens and officials in a short time," Huseynov said.

In compliance with the legislation, the administrative courts will be in two stages. Collegiums on administrative disputes will be established in the Appeal and Supreme Courts of Azerbaijan. The collegiums created in the Appeal courts will be the first degree of jurisdiction, and in the Supreme courts a higher degree of jurisdiction.
