Five Presidents Assemble in  Vilnius   Summit

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr . А. Gasimova / Presidents of five countries, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine will take part at the Vilnius summit on security in the energy sphere in Lithuania from 10 to 11 October, the Lithuanian President's press-service reported to the Trend Agency on 29 September.

The summit will be opened in the presidential palace on 10 October under topic 'New ways of energy supply; actions after the Krakovsk conference'.

EUEnergy Commissar Andris Piebalgs will make a report on the topic of 'US Respond on global energy' at the press-conference with participation of all participants of the conference.

The conference will be opened in the Reval Hotel Lietuva by statement of the Lithuanian President on the topic of 'Proposals on development of foreign energy policy of the EU'.

The next round table under the topic of 'Development of energy cooperation in the Caspian and Black Seas to expand energy market will be opened by speech of the Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev.

The Rumanian President, Troyan Basesk , the Ukrainian President, Viktor Yushenko , Georgian Prime Minister, Zurab Nogaideli , Turkmen Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources Minister, Baymirat Khojamuhammad , Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister, Mahmat Hilmi Gular , and others will also make a speech.

Assistant Secretary of State, OSCE Minsk Group co-chair Matthew J. Bryza will also take part at the conference.
