Personal Decision of Iranian President will Lead to Destruction of Government: Iranian Politician

Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend D. Khatinoglu / The nuclear activity of Iran will lead to the country's isolation and the application of sanctions against it. "The personal decision of the Iranian President will lead to the destruction of the government," said the Iranian politician Isa Saharkhiz.

On 10 October the former rapporteur of the nuclear organization, Hasan Ruhani, expressed concern that as a result of egotistical and one-sided wishes of the ninth Government in Iran, the country has faced serious threats. According to many politicians, the country should not incur threats.

The President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, said on 5 October that being afraid of the threats of the West, several Iranian politicians are preparing for discussions without permission. Ahmadinejad warned them not to interfere.

As a result of the radical policy of Ahmadinejad, the number of the US' allies is growing day by day and Iran is becoming further isolated, Isa Saharkhiz reported to Trend on 11 October from Iran by telephone.

"Politicians acting in Iran, political parties' chairmen, and experts have been warned several times about the danger of continuing with nuclear activity. Nuclear technology is not the only needs of the Iranian population. Most of the population's rights were trampled and the first reason for it was non-diplomatic conduct of the country's leadership, a 'rise of hostility' policy," the political scientist said.

The Palestinian conflict has nothing in common with Iran, the country will not interfere in the conflict, the Iranian political scientist said, commenting on the strong statements by Ahmadinejad against Israel.

The Iranian President repeatedly stated that Israel must be wiped from the earth. Now he demands free reforms in Palestine.

Wiping Israel off from the earth and a referendum is the same thing, Ahmad Zeydabadi, the Iranian political scientist, said.

If 80% of Israeli people are to be evicted from the country then 5mln Palestinian refugees may return and the result of the referendum is predictable.

If the issue is about the referendum then it should be held first of all in Iran, Isa Sarhazi said.

"Iranian Constitution, two years of unsuccessful governing by Ahmadinejad, the nuclear issue and many other issues should be submitted at the referendum. The President's policy is a danger for the country," Saharkhiz said.
