France, Strasburg / Тrend corr A. Maharramli / The 7th Conference on gender equality to include CE countries' ministers will take place in Azerbaijan in 2010, Azerbaijani permanent representation in the Council of Europe reported to Trend on 1 November.
The decision to hold the forum in Baku was made at the recent meeting of the CE Committee of Representatives in Strasburg.
Initially one of 2 countries - Azerbaijan and Greece - was supposed to host the conference. But at the 37th meeting of the CE subcommittee which took place in Strasburg in the June of 2007 Greece withdrew its candidacy.
