Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / On 1 November the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received at the Presidential Palace Jorge de Sampaio, UN Secretary General's High Representative for Alliance of Civilizations, the former President of Portugal.
The Azerbaijani leader highlighted the significance of holding the Youth for the Alliance of Civilizations conference in Baku, and highly appreciated participation of the UN Secretary General's representative in the event.
Mr. Sampaio, for his part, recalled with pleasure his meeting with President Ilham Aliyev in Istanbul.
