CIS Member-Countries Internal Ministers Maintain Connection for Mutual Assistance
Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / The CIS Internal Ministries maintain connection for mutual assistance in the case of mass disorders, Ramil Usubov, the Azerbaijani Internal Ministry, said on 17 November.
The information about the use of forces of the law enforcement bodies of Azerbaijan to disperse rallies in Tbilisi was spread by the Georgian and Azerbaijani press. Press issued the telephone conversation between the Azerbaijani and Georgian Internal Ministries.
"The Permanent Council of Internal Ministries of the CIS member-countries is functioning. Now I am the chairman of the Council. I maintain connection with the Internal Ministers of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Georgia. I maintained connection with the Internal Minister of Georgia due to the recent events occurred in Georgia," Usubov said.
"I do not consider strange of mine connection with the Internal Minister of Georgia. We render assistance to each other. We help to define the place of terrorist forces and prevent mass disorders in country," the Azerbaijani Minister said.
