Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr E. Huseynli / A memorandum on military cooperation was signed during the Azerbaijani Defence Minister's visit to Estonia.
During the visit the Azerbaijani Defence Minister Safar Abiyev met with his Estonian counterpart Jaak Aavikso on 5 December, the Spokesman for the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry Eldar Safarov said to Trend.
Abiyev's 2-day visit began on 4 December on the invitation of the Estonian Defence Minister and will be completed on 6 December.
Abiyev met with the Estonian President Thomas Hendrik Ilves. They discussed the military and political situation in the region and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Abiyev also met with Estonian Foreign Minister, Safarov reported.
