Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Ilhmagizi / Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijan`s President today sent a letter of condolence to Pakistani leader Pervez Musharraf over the assassination of the country`s former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
"The news of the death of leader of the Pakistan People`s Party, the famous political figure in your country, the former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, and a major human loss in a suicide attack in Rawalpindi, is a source of great sorrow to us", President Aliyev said in the message.
The Azerbaijani leader extended sympathies and condolences to the families and relatives of the dead, as well as the injured.
