Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 January / Тrend corr S. Agayeva / The President of Azerbaijan- Ilham Aliyev and that of Ukraine -Victor Yushenko, will meet in Davos, Talat Aliyev, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine said in a phone talk from Kiev on 18 January. The meeting will take place within the framework of the annual economic forum, which will be held in the Swiss resort city of Davos on 23-27 January.
The Presidents are expected to exchange their views on the actual topics of bilateral relations, and shall also discuss the energetic and regional cooperation.
According to a tradition, since establishment of the forum in 1971, the heads of largest companies in the world (from the oil and finance giants to the world news agencies) annually meet in Davos. According to the organizers, in 2008, more than 800 representatives of the big business will be in attendance.
