Egyptian, Azerbaijani Cities May Become Twin Cities – Egyptian Ambassador to Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan, 25 January / Т / An Egyptian city and the Azerbaijani Nakhchivan city may become twin cities, the Egyptian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yusif Ahmad Al-Sharkavi said on 24 January during his visit to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) of Azerbaijan.

The friendly and fraternal relationships between the two countries will be still enhancing, the Speaker of the NAR Parliament Vasif Talibov stressed when receiving the Ambassador.

According to Talibov, scientific and educational relationships are also developing between Egypt and Nakhchivan. Two Egyptian instructors are teaching students in the Arabic Language Faculty at the NAR State University.

"The Heydar Aliyev Park will be opened in Cairo in near future. And erection of the Heydar Aliyev Monument will give an impetus to more intensive development of the relations between the two countries," Talibov said.

According to the Ambassador, he will do his best for development of sincere and fraternal relations. Presently, Azerbaijan leads in the region and the country is experiencing stability and well-being, he said.
