Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 January / Тrend corr K. Ramazanova / The Council of Europe Ministerial Committee Ago Group will pay a visit to the South Caucasus during the first week in April. The delegation will be presided over by the chair of the Ago Group, Per Sjogren, who is the permanent representative of Sweden to CE, the Spokesman for the Ago group Christophe Poirel said.
Fulfilment of Azerbaijan's obligations to CE, as well as the details of cooperation, will be discussed during the visit.
According to Poirel, the presidential elections, media and judicial system in Azerbaijan will be at the center of attention.
During the visit the Ago Group will hold meetings with the representatives of the Government, civil society and the Parliament.
After the visit to Azerbaijan, the delegation will head for Armenia.
