Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 February / corr Trend K.Ramazanova / Ago Group of the Council of Europe (CE) Ministerial Committee will pay a visit to Azerbaijan and Armenia on 3-4 April. The delegation will be led by Pier Siegren, the permanent representative of Sweden at the CE.
During the visit there are plans to discuss the implementation of the CE obligations by Azerbaijan, Christophe Poirel, the spokesman for Ago Group stated during a telephone conversation from Strasbourg on 11 February. According to him, the presidential elections, media and the court system in Azerbaijan will be the focus of negotiations.
During the visit Ago Group will hold meetings with representatives of political parties, the press, government, civil society and Parliament.
After their visit to Azerbaijan, the Ago Group representatives will leave for Armenia.
