Azerbaijan, Ganja, 19 February / Trend corr. V.Mammodov / Thieves of electric equipment were detained at the scene of the crime in Ganja, Shain Sadigov, investigator of Ganja City Police Station, stated to trend on 19 February.
A gang of three men broke into the high-voltage electric energy station in Ganja and attempted to steal 400kg of electric equipment on 15 February. Criminal cases have been filed. The detainees are Elshan Hajiyev, Zaur Abdullayev and Vugar Pirverdiyev.
Hajiyev worked as guard in the station.
An investigation has been launched into the case.
Ganja is located 365km west of Baku.
